Inline citation

Each figure names what it rests on, in the line where it appears.

Use it when

  • A figure or claim in an answer comes from a specific file or entry.
  • People need to check a number without losing the line they’re reading.

Don’t use it when

  • The figure is built from other figures. Use LineageTree, so it opens down to its parts.
  • You need everything the answer read in one place. Use Sources below the answer.

The rule it follows

  • Every number opens down to the entry behind it.

Check: Click any figure. It opens the entries it was built from.
